Amy wanted Graffiti and train tracks

This beautiful young lady saw my photos on Facebook and decided "I was the one for her Senior photos". For her pictures she wanted Graffiti. Well  I looked and looked and was not able to find any around here. It seems like graffiti gets cleaned right the next day. I was happy to hear that this town was kept so clean but also disappointed because I was not able to find the walls for background my client was looking for. I went to downtown and found old buildings and train tracks that are not too clean. Anyways Amy was happy with the photos and that is all I care.

Carmen's Angel Face

I recently did a double Senior Session with Carmen and Amy. We met @ Chevy's Mexican restaurant in downtown and we took a few photos in that area, then we crossed the street and ended up @ Santa Rosa Creek. A few minutes later we were back @ Chevy's train tracks. This beautiful lady is Carmen I love her sweet face and told her "You have an angel face" what did she say ? LMAO she taught it was hilarious what I said..anyways It was my first time working with 2 seniors at the same time we it was a lot of fun.

The very next week after I photographed J and H, A contacted me telling me she wanted photos of her and her boyfriend asap. I was so excited to go back to the park and do my magic.. We met at 4 pm and one hour later it was dark! It was almost Winter :( During September and October my sessions were from 6-8 sunset time was 8 pm during the Summer months.  I miss the Summer it feels like the days have more hours. Anyways A and O are great models and I can't wait to work with them again. She said they will probably want more photos next Spring :)

These 2 lovers are so much fun to photograph. She is a Facebook friend and he is from Bodega Bay. November was gorgeous during the Fall so I told her to meet me there. The day was perfect and so the weather. They loved the pictures of course.

Hector's smiles

I love Hector's smile, he had a happy smile the entire time he was posing, We met @ Santa Rosa Middle school, right across the school there is a park "Cancer Survivor Plaza" and right across the Plaza there is this Auto body store that has some cool walls painted with cars and 'things that move'. We crossed the street to go to the Plaza and took some photos there, then we crossed the street to go to this shop and he posed against the cool walls... (how do I know about all these cool walls? I go for walks to downtown all the time, looking for....cool walls and cool places to pose my Seniors ;)

Tall blue eyed Senior boy

The mom of this 6'3 tall blue eyed blond contacted me and said that she wanted Senior pictures for his son ASAP. Jeremy is the brother of one of the girls who trashed the dress last year, so I was happy to meet the rest of the family. It was raining all day that day, but he needed the pictures...lucky for me the rain stopped for a few minutes while I worked..there were 4 other pro photographers @ Julliard photographing Seniors under the rain! It was Wednesday when I took the pictures and 24 hours the photos were ready!, I love my new computer and editing program....

This was my second time working with this cutie. She always wears black lol, I told her to bring alot of clothes for the shoot but every thing she had was black. This time I was prepared with my colorful scarfs and accessories. It was cloudy for the first 20 minutes and then it got so sunny and bright! I was not happy with the lighting but we got a lot of good pictures.

Koa @ SRJC

His name is Koa and he is so cute. We met at SRJC it was a Saturday afternoon. His mom and little brother followed us as we went for a walk looking for trees and cool backgrounds. Since he was a little nervous his lil brother kept on telilng him how to pose lol, I said 'that is great' keep on posing him and this is what we got..

Senior boy whose mom is model material'

It was nice to photograph this nice young male. His mom is a tall blue eyed beauty that trashed the dress for me once last year.. For his Senior photos, we met @ The train tracks in College Ave. There are some old walls that we used as the background. Mother and son loved their photos. Another happy client :)

A High School Senior boy! Yay! we had to meet twice. The first time we met it was getting dark so, we had to re schedule for the next Saturday morning. Smart boy posed himself and posed for almost 2 hours! what a good boy.

Beauty Senior #2 is my niece

The very next day, my other niece emailed me, "I will be there on Saturday she said". I said ok' I had another senior session that day but I had to fit her in my schedule since she was going to drive 3 hours for her Senior Pictures. I loved her girly dresses and leggings. This time we met @ SRJ College.

When My own nieces saw my Senior Photos on Facebook.com they decided I was the photographer for them and of course I have to do it!. This gorgeous lady wanted her photos @ Jilliard park. She didn't have a dress but she had a few jeans and lots of shirts.  btw the father of this beauty senior is Balin (UB) Ruiz ;)

What a fun job, this young lady posed herself and she was extremelly easy to work with. I wanted to show her and her mom a different location. I told her to wear her dancing shoes and shorts for this particular location (downtown Santa Rosa, the creek) . I loved how these turned out.

This beauty Senior and I met @ Luther burbank gardens in downtown, then we went to a walk and found a cute red bridge with a small body of water, the perfect background. I love this story: She told me that she booked with other photographer but when she saw my pictures she changed her mind and canceled with that other photographer to book with me :)

Senior beauty is a cheerleader

A lot of people love my very second Senior session, A photographer friend was going to do this job, but he said I was more 'artistic' and he gave my info. to the mom', Senior's mom contacted me and later on I got interviewed' by this young lady, she told me what she expected and I told her "I can do that! and lucky for me I got the job. It was the second week of September when I photographed this gorgeous cheerleader from a nearby High School. We met @ the popular Luther Burbank gardens in Santa Rosa ca. Then we went across the street to continue with our fun 2 hour session. A few days later she posted her photos on Facebook.com and her friends loved it. Right after I got several e mail from teens from the same High School :)..btw I got a call from her mom to tell me what a great job I did. Both of them were so happy with my work.

Gorgeous Volleyball player

Wow what a busy month I had. September 2010 what a challenging month. A huge wedding and 6 beautiful high school Seniors. I met my very first HS Senior in downtown Santa Rosa CA. I was so nervous that I forgot my memory card. Lucky for me I live in downtown so I went to get it and went back to the park to photograph this gorgeous young lady.  Her nHere are some of my favorites.




This High School Athlethe was so much fun to photograph! Smart, really tall and gorgeous.

Trash the Dress Photography

I do a lot of trash the dress photography. Recently I went to the Russian River with Megan and wow what a great experience, the river is awesome. I was too busy with weddings but I can't wait to go again. The first 2 pictures were taken @ Santa Rosa Creek in downtown Santa Rosa ca, the area is dark and not very clean but oh well it is downtown. I also went to the train tracks in downtown. There was a construction going on that day and it was so dirty, the more dirty the better" I told the model.
